I am something, and yet, nothing in comparison to the raging tide of time. A blip on the radar of humanity. I am young, but old in the sense that my life has contained much more than some youths of my age. I am what would be called an "old soul." In my eighteen years on this earth, I have passed through many trials, and learned the importance of resilience and perseverance. And yet, in some ways, I am none the wiser for it.

I am a short, lively sort of person. I love singing, eating and listening to my favorite music. I like reading and writing. I spend copious amounts of time in the library. I like movies and fashion. A lot of people think that I am rather eccentric (it's the altitude in CO, I tell them...does stuff to you!). I am almost fluent in Spanish. My room is a mess 80% of the time.

In my spare time, much to my parents' dismay, I shut myself in my room and write and listen to music. Now that I am away at school, it's worse. I like to blast my music, especially Linkin Park, and I have to admit, I am a Linkin Park junkie. Yes, it's a little sad, but I'm not as bad as some people....
